The R/F system is comprised of necessary antennas, down-converters and Inmarsat receivers. The system consists of separate antennas for Uplink and Downlink. Usually there will be two antennas, one for L-band downlink signals and one for C-band downlink signals.

The receiver system consists of down-converters and multi- channel receivers as required.

The antennas receive the signals in microwave format, and they are fed to the down-converters, which convert the signals to an intermediate frequency of 70 or 140 MHz. The output is forwarded to the multi-channel receivers.

Multiple channel system, expandable upto 16 Channels. Modular architecture of the system allows further expansion of the system.

The Inmarsat surveillance System operates on L-Band frequencies (1.5 - 1.7 GHz).

The Inmarsat surveillance System has Automatic capability of recognizing traffic type.

Demodulation and decoding of Signaling Channels of regional net coordinating station (NCS) and coast stations of joining (LES);

Analysis of the signal units of channels from NCS and LES, isolation of physical identifiers, determination of the type of the assigned connections, analysis and the isolation of telegraphic load.

Tuning receiving circuits to the information channels taking into account is indicative priority.

Demodulation and the registration of information on Inmarsat C, Inmarsat M, Inmarsat Mini-M, Inmarsat B&B and Inmarsat BGAN.

Automatic disconnection of channel circuits after the end of period of communication.

Determination of the session parameters like date, time, frequency, the identifier coast and mobile stations, ray, priority in accordance with the table of selection, the name of the file of registration, the type of communication and their record into the data base.

Processing the sessions of facsimile and transmission of Data.

System will automatically alert the operator when a call with identity parameters as that in the target list is intercepted.

System maintains the internal call data record for each communication with all identity parameters that can be intercepted for each call.

All target specific calls is recorded and is available for real time monitoring.

The recorded conversations can searched based on call identity parameters.

The system has capability of analysis of the results by processing statistical data;
