Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une orbite circulaire dans le plan \u00e9quatorial de la Terre. L&#8217;orbite est situ\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 22 300 miles au-dessus de l&#8217;\u00e9quateur et, depuis la Terre, ces satellites semblent \u00eatre situ\u00e9s \u00e0 un point stationnaire dans le ciel. Cela permet de simplifier les antennes des stations terrestres puisqu&#8217;elles sont orient\u00e9es dans une direction fixe et n&#8217;ont pas \u00e0 suivre un objet en mouvement. Les communications t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques par satellite sont bas\u00e9es sur la bande C pour la liaison avec les stations terrestres\/les stations relais et sur la bande L pour la liaison avec les combin\u00e9s t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques par satellite.[\/tm_heading][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row sm_spacing=&#8221;margin_top:-90&#8243; xs_spacing=&#8221;margin_top:-90&#8243;][vc_column][tm_heading tag=&#8221;div&#8221; custom_google_font=&#8221;&#8221; font_size=&#8221;lg:18&#8243; line_height=&#8221;1.67&#8243;]La bande de fr\u00e9quences la plus utilis\u00e9e pour les syst\u00e8mes de communication par satellite est de 6 GHz sur la liaison montante (transmission de la Terre vers le satellite) et de 4 GHz sur la liaison descendante (transmission du satellite vers la Terre), c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire la bande C. Les satellites plus r\u00e9cents fonctionnent en bande Ku, qui utilise 14 GHz sur la liaison montante et 12 GHz sur la liaison descendante, avec un espacement orbital de 2 degr\u00e9s. La bande Ku offre une plus grande largeur de bande pour la transmission par satellite et a une empreinte plus petite sur la Terre, ce qui permet une plus grande r\u00e9utilisation des fr\u00e9quences. La bande Ku est de plus en plus utilis\u00e9e par les r\u00e9seaux VSAT et les op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision directe par satellite en raison de la taille r\u00e9duite des antennes et du co\u00fbt moins \u00e9lev\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9quipement de l&#8217;abonn\u00e9. Bien que la bande Ku souffre de pertes plus importantes en raison de l&#8217;att\u00e9nuation due \u00e0 la pluie, les d\u00e9veloppements r\u00e9cents d&#8217;une puissance de sortie plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e des satellites dans cette bande ont donn\u00e9 de plus grandes possibilit\u00e9s d&#8217;utilisation de cette bande. Certains satellites utilisent la bande X ou la bande Ka pour leurs communications.[\/tm_heading][tm_spacer size=&#8221;xs:10;lg:20&#8243;][tm_heading tag=&#8221;div&#8221; custom_google_font=&#8221;&#8221; font_size=&#8221;lg:18&#8243; line_height=&#8221;1.67&#8243;]Le brouillage des t\u00e9l\u00e9phones satellitaires ou des liaisons par satellite dans une r\u00e9gion donn\u00e9e est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en brouillant les signaux de liaison descendante dans les bandes L, C, X, Ku et Ka. Les brouilleurs de liaison descendante Stratign sont efficaces sur une port\u00e9e d&#8217;environ 20 km. Toutefois, il peut s&#8217;av\u00e9rer n\u00e9cessaire de brouiller les signaux de liaison montante sur un canal particulier afin de rendre la communication sur ces canaux inefficace et de mettre ainsi hors service un r\u00e9seau complet. Les brouilleurs de liaison montante Stratign sont con\u00e7us pour cibler simultan\u00e9ment au moins 2 canaux sur chaque bande.[\/tm_heading][tm_spacer
