Problem :

One of our customers, a senior decision-maker in a high-risk government environment, faced serious challenges in securing mobile communications while handling confidential information.

Despite using secure calling and messaging platforms, their communications were still routed through third-party servers, creating a single point of cyber-attack and increasing the risk of eavesdropping and data leaks.

Solution:

To address this challenge, we proposed the Salus Secure Phone, an enterprise-grade secure smartphone designed to protect sensitive mobile communications from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

We proposed a low-profile yet highly secure mobile device that operates on a custom-built, security-rich operating system, eliminating reliance on third-party servers and minimizing the overall cyber-attack surface.

The proposed solution included:

  • End-to-end encrypted voice calls using ZRTP.

  • AES-256 and RSA-2048 encrypted messaging for secure communication.

  • Blocked Google services to prevent data leakage.

  • Trusted hardware with secure boot and full-disk encryption.

  • Fused command-and-control application for centralized governance and compliance.

  • Behaviour-based anomaly detection to identify evasive and advanced mobile attacks.

Use Case Outcome:

As a result of deploying the Salus Secure Phone, the customer successfully established a highly secure and trusted mobile communication environment for handling sensitive information.
