Human Trafficking a major concern across the border

Trafficking of individuals across national borders for the purposes of forced labor, slavery, or other forms of exploitation has become a major border issue for countries.

According to the global result of the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT), joint action days conducted between 24 and 30 October 2022,
910 potential victims of human trafficking were identified, and 254 suspects were arrested for illegal trafficking.
Hence, tracking movements across borders has become a necessity to prevent such threats.
